Saturday evening's weather update

Today's showers will gradually clear away this evening to leave a dry night, albeit rather mild and muggy with areas of mist and low cloud. Sunday will bring plenty of sunshine initially but showers will break out from mid-morning, locally heavy and thundery later in the day.

Tonight:Cloudy with showers or longer spells of rain at first, locally heavy. Then becoming dry with clear spells developing but also possibly patchy mist, low cloud or fog. Minimum temperature 10 °C.

Sunday:Generally dry with sunny spells developing, although as many inland places become very warm so a few heavy and thundery showers could be triggered. Cooler along the south coast. Maximum temperature 23 °C.
