Now, many of us have been getting to know our neighbours better during lockdown. But one couple from Kent needed the help of their neighbour more than most, with delivering their baby.

Luckily for them, the woman living next door was a midwife.

At just three weeks old, baby Sienna seems unaware of the drama caused by her sudden arrival.

Her mother's waters had broken at home, and straight away she wanted to push.

  • Mandy Petrou, Midwife

Mandy had been gardening during her afternoon off from the Queen Elizabeth the Queen Mother hospital in Margate, when she was asked to do her day job - a little closer to home.

And within minutes, Sienna was born.

So now Sienna can enjoy the sunshine in the garden with her big brother Arthur.

And recover from her speedy arrival into the family.
