67 piglets stolen from farm in Hampshire

67 piglets have been stolen from a farm in Fordingbridge in Hampshire.

The six-week-old piglets were stolen from a farm in Damerham between May 20 and May 28.

They each have the reference HB0789 tattooed on them.

Hampshire Police officers from the Countrywatch team are investigating the theft and want to hear from anyone who may have information.

The piglets were being kept in their family groups as they are social animals.

The Countrywatch team are warning that by moving them to a different location, it could expose them to dangerous bugs and cause unnecessary stress which may lead to premature death.

The farmer who owns the piglets is extremely concerned for their welfare.
