Paddleboarder describes moment he saved cliff jumper
A paddleboarder who came to the rescue of a man who jumped off a famous seaside landmark from a height about 70 feet, has described the actions of some beachgoers as 'selfish and disrespectful'.
Michael Wiley has spoken about the moments during which he and other people on the beach saw a number of men jump rom the cliffs at Durdle Door in Dorset into the sea.
Emergency crews also went to help the injured man at the 'Durdle Door' beauty spot where crowds had gathered along the beach to catch some sun.
People went to the resort even though the public had been asked to stay away to avoid the spread of Coronavirus.
Durdle Door was not the only seaside destination packed with daytrippers. There are concerns that the lockdown, which has been somewhat eased today, is being widely ignored.
