Lockdown easing - now up to 6 people can meet

More people can meet outside after some lockdown restrictions are eased

The lockdown is easing gradually, with as many as six people now able to meet in public now, while socially distancing. More of us can now see the friends and family we have been separated from for two months or more.

The relaxed rules mean up to six people from different households can meet in public spaces and private gardens - as long as you stay two metres apart.

It also means that someone can now meet up with friends, and both parents at their home, as long as there is enough space to social distance.

ITV Meridian reporter, Charlotte Wilkins, showed us - live from Hove Park in our programme on Monday 1st June, just what two metres apart in a park looks like.
