Murder investigation underway as four bodies found in West Sussex

A murder investigation has been launched after the bodies of two adults and two children were found at a house in West Sussex.

They were discovered by police at a property in Duffield Lane in Woodmancote on Sunday.

Officers had received a call from a member of the public concerned about the welfare of the occupants.

The bodies are believed to be that of 42-year-old Robert Needham, 40-year-old Kelly Fitzgibbons, four-year-old Ava Needham and two-year-old Lexi Needham.

However, post-mortem examinations and formal identification have yet to take place.

The body of a dog was also found.

It is believed all the victims were from the same family.

Police say it is an isolated incident and are appealing for anyone with information to come forward.
