Man aged 19 dead - three arrests after Ashford murder

Three people, including two teenagers, have been arrested on suspicion of murder after the death of a 19-year-old man who was found injured in a street in Ashford.

The arrests come after a man with injuries was found in Brookfield Road, Ashford, following reports to police of an assault just before 12.30pm on Saturday 14 March.

Two boys aged 17 and a 24-year-old man were detained by officers from the Kent and Essex Serious Crime Directorate. All three were arrested on suspicion of murder. Police enquiries continue.

Detectives are appealing for witnesses who were in Brookfield Road at about 12.27pm on Saturday 14th March near the Clockhouse area to come forward. They are also asking cyclists or motorists to submit any relevant dashcam footage they may have inadvertently recorded.
