Hollywood plans to open massive studio in Thames Valley

Hollywood could be coming to the Thames Valley.

That's because plans have been announced for a state-of-the-art film studio to built in Reading.

Atlanta-based Blackhall Studios says it's working with the University of Reading to build the studio on fields near to the Thames Valley Science Park in Shinfield. The company would employ up to 3,000 people at its first studio outside the United States.
