Firefighters rescue 3ft long snake from car dashboard
Watch the moment firefighters grapple with the three-foot snake:
Firefighters in Hampshire have rescued a three-foot long Albino Corn Snake from the dashboard of a car.
It managed to escape from its box during a journey and slither into the dashboard, where it remained for two weeks.
The snake's owner, Summer Cassar from Chandler's Ford, used a dead mouse to try to coax it out herself but pulled into Eastleigh fire station as a last resort.
Under the advice of experts, crews turned the heating on, then half an hour later the snake poked its head out in the search for colder air.
The snake was returned to Summer unharmed.
