Ram-raiders cause £15,000 damage to convenience store
Ram-raiders caused £15,000 worth of damage to a convenience store in Didcot on Monday morning.
Thieves smashed the windows of the Londis shop on Brasenose Road using a car.
The gang reversed the car twice, using a bin to force their way through the shutters of the shop.
The raid caused extensive damage, ripping apart shelves and smashing bottles all over the floor.
Video footage of the shop damage:
It is thought the ram-raiders were trying to access the cash machine inside the shop.
The gang escaped empty-handed after failing to get inside the premises.
The alarm inside the Londis shop called police to the scene.
Other local shop owners and local residents have been offering their support.
Police would like to hear from anyone who was in the area at the time or may have information about the raid.
