Woman killed in crash named, daughter 8 in hospital

The family of twenty-eight-year-old Chloe Lloyd have paid tribute to her after she died in a road accident in Poole, Dorset, on Friday 3rd January 2020.

Chloe Lloyd, 28, was driving a silver Vauxhall Astra with her 8-year-old daughter Lexi as a passenger when the incident happened on the A35 Upton Bypass westbound. The car left the road just before the Baker's Arms roundabout and landed in a ditch.

The police were called to the scene at 8.50pm on Friday night, following reports of a collision involving just one vehicle. The motorist, Chloe Lloyd, died at the scene. Her child, Lexi, was left with serious injuries and was airlifted to Southampton General Hospital. Dorset Police say her condition remains critical and her family is at her side.
