People living in villages and towns across the South East can take a trip down memory lane thanks to The British Film Institute.
Tens of thousands of historical films from across the UK can be viewed on their website.
It has been a time-consuming and expensive exercise that has been made possible by the National Lottery.
A 60-year-old promotional film for Eastbourne, created by the local council, is one of the 10,000 clips available.
Forgotten TV programmes, news reports and home movies have all been made available in the archive.
