Body found in Australia believed to be missing Brighton man

A body has been found in the Australian bush which police believe to be that of missing Brighton man Aslan King.

In a statement, Victoria Police said the body had not yet been formally identified, but that it was "believed to be Aslan King".

The body was found in a creek just over a kilometre from the camping ground on Old Coach Road, where Mr King was last seen at about 2am.

A helicopter, boats and mounted police were used in the large scale search for the 25-year-old.

Aslan King, who relocated to Australia two weeks ago, had suffered what friends described as a possible seizure during a coastal camping trip.

Mr King, is said to have hit his head on the ground before getting up quickly and rushing into thick bushland surrounding the campsite where he and four friends had been staying.

The site is near the town of Princetown, near the tourist site known as the Twelve Apostles.
