Series of failings contributed to death of patient in Hove
A series of failings contributed to the death of a patient at a mental health hospital in Sussex. Those are the findings of a jury at an inquest into the death of Bethany Tenquist, who was found hanging at Mill View Hospital in Hove.
Low staffing levels, bullying and poor safety plans are just some of the criticisms levelled at Sussex Partnership NHS Trust. The Coroner said risks still remained at the hospital. The jury concluded Bethany's death was an accident.
