Two years on - a police officer's wife talks about life without him

James Dixon died when his motorbike was involved in a collision with a car in December 2017.

His wife Samantha said the birth of their son, following his death, was the most bittersweet moment of her life.

More than 600 police officers and mourners lined the streets in Pangbourne for the funeral.

Our reporter Mel Bloor went out to meet Samantha Dixon and talk to her about her memories of her husband and what the future holds.

Samantha was honoured at the Pride of Reading awards on Friday.

She received the Chris Tarrant Award, for those who deserve special recognition.
