Man with dragon tattoo sought in connection with attempted murder

Hampshire Police are trying to trace a man wanted in connection with the attempted murder of a man in Lymington.

They want to speak to 45-year-old Martin Williamson from Brockenhurst, following a serious assault earlier this week which left a man fighting for his life in hospital.

Officers were called to Lower Buckland Road, Lymington, shortly after 3.30am on Thursday (October 31) after a man was found with serious injuries.

The 30-year-old, from Milford-on-Sea, was taken to hospital where he is still receiving treatment.

Officers have made one arrest but want to speak to Mr Williamson in relation to the investigation.

He is described as being white, around 6ft tall, with short brown hair and brown eyes. He has a dragon tattoo on his right arm and chest and a tattoo of a flower on his left arm.

Detective Inspector Steve Spencer said: “We’ve been carrying out several enquiries and believe Martin is still in the New Forest area, so please keep an eye out for him.

“We’ve got extra officers on patrol in the area, so if you have any concerns, please go and talk to them.”
