Hairdresser finds skin cancer during appointment

It was a routine trip to the hairdresser - which ended up with a skin cancer diagnosis and an operation in hospital.

Fifty-nine-year-old Claire Bascombe was diagnosed with Basal Cell Carcinoma when her regular hair stylist in Dorchester noticed a patch of dry skin.

If left untreated, Claire's condition could have become much worse. She's now warning others of the signs. Richard Slee reports.
