Unpaid carers 'are being driven into poverty'

How do we fund those who need looking after? Carers UK are warning that thousands of unpaid carers are being driven into poverty - many are unable to save for their old age because they are looking after a loved one.

The charity is urging the new Prime Minister to take drastic action to improve the lives of a hidden army, propping up an inadequate social care system.
