Autistic man's video diary is raising awareness of the condition
A young man from Oxford wants to challenge people's ideas about what it is to live with autism.
Alex Richardson discovered he was autistic when he was just five years old. Now, aged 20 he's released a video documenting his journey with the condition [YouTube]. The video is now being used as a training video by several companies and schools and has been watched thousands of times online.
Alex is now an ambassador for the National Autistic Society. He has spoken to our reporter Mary Stanley about the struggles he faced growing up.
