Woman in hospital after fire at block of flats in West Sussex

A woman has been taken to hospital after a fire at a block of flats in Steyning in West Sussex.

Around 20 firefighters were called to the scene just after midnight on Tuesday.

The fire started in the ground floor flat.

Local residents were asked to keep windows and doors closed.

Crews investigating the cause say it was accidental.

They left the scene at around 3.30am.
