Murder investigation after woman's body found in Oxford

A murder investigation is undereway after the discovery of a woman's body at a house in Oxford.

Police found the 35-year-old after being called to the property in the early hours of Monday morning. A 45-year-old man with serious injuries was also found there. He is being treated in hospital.

The incident on Lytton Road in the Cowley area of the city has sparked a major police inquiry. Detectives are appealing for witnesses. Mel Bloor reports.
