Commemorations have been taking place at Daedalus in Hampshire - the busiest airfield on D-Day.

Plaque unveiled to honour the pilots who flew from Daedalus in June 1944.

Commemorations have been taking place at the busiest airfield on D-Day. Daedalus in Hampshire was the starting point for 400 missions to Normandy. Today a 99 year old veteran who was based at the airfield unveiled a plaque in honour of those who gave so much. Richard Slee was there.
