Thieves lash out at cat in Southsea Model Village

Thieves broke into Southsea Model Village at the weekend, and lashed out at the resident cat. Rooney has been checked over and is none the worse for his ordeal.

The thieves made off with three figures, aiming a kick at Rooney on their way out.

A spokesperson described the incident as "vile".
