A fire officer from Kent is embarking on a gruelling, long-distance run, in a bid to raise awareness of mental illness.

Greg Lee, who battled with alcoholism and depression in the past, found that running helped him to overcome his problems.

He's undertaking the Severn Challenge, a gruelling run that involves competitors running more than 200 miles in just over four days.

Greg will run from the source of the Britain's longest river all the way down to its mouth. He hopes to dispel stigmas surrounding mental health by taking part in the challenge.
