A pug has been rescued by firefighters after falling down a 40-metre well in her owner's garden in Kent.

Three-year-old Kiki was tempted into a holdall filled with treats and hauled up the shaft with ropes.

Despite falling down the well from 130ft, Kiki escaped without any major injuries.

It took the team of four around 45 minutes to rescue Kiki, deciding it was too dangerous for the crew to go into the well themselves to get her.

After a quick wash, the owners planned to take Kiki to the vet to get her checked over.
