As part of our Spring into Action series, which is all about encouraging people to get out and keep healthy, we sent our very own Andrew Pate to Steyning in Sussex to take on the Rough Runner obstacle course.

Participants can take on obstacles inspired by TV game shows like Gladiators, Total Wipeout and Ninja Warrior.

Some of the challenges include the 'Sweeper Arms', a 40 metre water slide, and the 'Travelator'.

The course is available in 5km, 10km or 15km options.

Events are taking place at the Wiston Estate in Sussex and in Oxfordshire.
