Fifteen-year-old Shelby-Marie recently became the National Junior Champion.
Shelby-Marie has been training to box since she was 10 years old.
She says she is motivated by the support around her, including that from her dad, who is also one of her coaches.
Not only is she hoping to qualify for a place in the European championships which will take her to compete in Romania, she is looking ahead to the 2024 Olympics.
Shelby says she wishes to follow in the footsteps of her Olympic idols Katie Taylor and Nicola Adams.
She is current combining her GCSE studies at Highstead Grammar with her training.
