M27 remains closed eastbound at Fareham after accident
Highways England is advising motorists to avoid the eastbound M27 near Fareham following a single vehicle collision involving a lorry.
Emergency services were called at 8.25am this morning.
The eastbound carriageway remains closed between junctions 11 and 12. A diversion is in place.
A fuel spill means resurfacing work is necessary, and the carriageway is likely to remain closed for some time.
Police are advising motorists to avoid the eastbound M27 as traffic is currently queuing back to junction 9
No injuries were reported and no arrests have been made.
