Young athlete has sights set on 2020 Olympics

Friday marks International Women's Day and all this week ITV News Meridian is celebrating remarkable women from across our region, across different walks of life and across generations.

Our first report is about a young athlete from Farnham in Surrey who has her sights set on next year's Olympics.

Morgan Lake (left) is no stranger to the podium

21-year-old Morgan Lake is the number one high jumper in Britain this year and the Commonwealth Games silver medallist.

Morgan competed in the European Indoor Athletics Championships between the 1st and 3rd March.

Morgan told ITV News Meridian about her dedication and the thrills and pressures of competing on the global stage.
