Age is no barrier for this incredible table tennis champion at 89 years old!

Our Winter Well-Being campaign has highlighted lots of different ways in which we can all keep fit and healthy.

So for our last feature in the series, we've met one incredible lady for whom age is no barrier to keeping fit and winning titles.

89 year old table tennis champion Pam Butcher continues to travel the world competing for titles and when back home, is an inspiration to younger players at her club in Meopham.

Watch Sarah Gomme's report, where she met up with Pam and played a few games with her:

Welcome to the sports club where age really is just a number. There's almost a 90 year age gap between the youngest and eldest member.

89 year old Pam Butcher is the World Champion for her age group.

Her original passion was tennis but after a break to raise two children, Pam took up table tennis.

She never dreamt it would take her to competitions around the world and earn her an MBE.

Today Pam focusses much of her attention on the growth of her local table tennis club where she's something of a role model for both those much younger and a little older.

76 year old Alan Lander has Parkinson's disease. He credits table tennis with keeping him fit, both physically and mentally.

Pam now has her eye on the over-90s title and I don't think she'll be signing me up as a training buddy any time soon.
