Is laughter the best medicine? According to Laughing Yoga, it is!

They say laughter is the best medicine, and apparently it's true!

People in Brighton are taking part in Laughter Yoga classes.

It seems the exercises increase oxygen and endorphins in our bodies, boosting the immune system and reducing stress.

It was the American poet Ella Wheeler Wilcox who said "Laugh, and the world laughs with you; weep, and you weep alone".

100 years later and her words still ring true.

Laughter Yoga was invented by Dr Madan Kataria in India in 1995 as a treatment for his patients in Mumbai.

Now, it's a global phenomenon with thousands of laughter clubs all over the world.

This one in Brighton has been going for seven years.
