Our cameras go inside the iconic Brighton Hippodrome

It's been lying empty for more than a decade but today ITV Meridian got an exclusive tour of the Brighton Hippodrome to find out what lies in store for the iconic building.

It was built in 1897 and over the years its hosted stars like Laurel and Hardy, The Beatles and Sammy Davies Jr. Campaigners say it could become one of the major touring venues in the UK but there are concerns over how the plans would work.

Andy Dickenson has been to meet Aized Sheikh, of HIPP Investments, the man behind the project, as well as David Street from Save Our Hippodrome.
