Two dogs from Oxfordshire had a lucky escape after being rescued from a fox hole.

Flash and Ruby were found stuck in a field near Deddington Hill.

One of the dogs had been missing since Sunday afternoon, whilst the second was spotted burrowing into a fox hole on Wednesday morning.

Fire crews used specialist cameras to search the fox holes, finding one of them stuck in the burrow.

They were able to dig it out and free the first dog, while the second was able to make its own escape from a nearby tunnel.

The owners were said to be 'delighted' to be reunited with the pair.
