A new campaign is underway to encourage drivers in the New Forest to slow down to protect the area's ponies during the winter. The animals are tempted onto the roads when salt is spread to combat the impact of frosty weather conditions.

The 'Add Three Minutes' campaign is an initiative championed by the National Park Authority together with Shared Forest, Hampshire County Council and New Forest District Council.
