Poole's Twin Sails Bridge reopens for the first time since Christmas
The £37 million Twin Sails Bridge in Poole has reopened for the first time since Christmas.
It had been shut since Boxing Day because of a faulty electronic sensor.
It follows a month-long closure due to a technical fault with the lifting system which was resolved by the 18th December.
Traffic had to be diverted via the old Poole Bridge.
Poole Borough Council says it is working hard to resolve the issues with the bridge, which links the town with Hamworthy, for the long term.
