Family Christmas photos being used to create the perfect Snowman

Christmas may be a few weeks yet but it won't take just the plethora of TV ads and High Street decorations to remind you that its swooping ever closer.

Brighton Museum will be celebrating with an avalanche of family photos - recreating the cartoon visage of The Snowman to commemorate 40 years of Raymond Briggs’ original picture book.

Andy Dickenson takes a sneak peak at the project and speaks to Isobel Richardson of Penguin Random House and artist Helen Marshall of the People's Picture.

My Snowman will be available to view at Brighton Museum from 4th December to 6th January and a digital version will be online at the same time.
