Pedestrian dies following a collision with a bus in Hedge End

An elderly man has died two days after he was involved in a collision with a bus in Hedge End.

The crash involving a single deck bus and the 88-year old man pedestrian happened at the junction of Upper Northam Road (B3036) and Wildern Lane, just after half six on Friday.

The man was taken to Southampton General Hospital where he later died from his injuries.

Hampshire Police are appealing for any dashcam or witness information that may assist with their enquiries.
