Landlord has 'had enough' after constant crimes within her property

The landlord of a block of flats in the centre of Brighton said she's "had enough" after being a constant target of crime.

Nazila Blencowe has said she may have to quit due to the amount of violence, vandalism and drug trafficking taking place within the properties.

Andy Dickenson reports and speaks to Mrs Blencowe and resident Nowa Mattar.

Mrs Blencowe says she needs more support from Brighton and Hove City Council and has even offered a flat to the council for a support worker to use and remain on site.

The council told us: "We have a good working relationship with Ms Blencowe. She has made it clear to us that she does not intend to pull out of providing temporary accommodation for the council at Windsor Court.

"Her contractual obligations with us remain unchanged. Whenever issues relating to the quality of the accommodation at Windsor Court are raised with us, we raise them with its management company in order to get them resolved quickly."
