Controversial Westgate Centre celebrates one year on from revamp

The Westgate shopping centre in Oxford hosted a day of events and activities to celebrate its one year anniversary.
Costing £440m, it was expected to bring in around 15 million shoppers a year.
Following a retail survey, it revealed the number of visitors to the city has increased by 8.9% in the last year.
Figures published by Westgate revealed that the development had created the equivalent of more than 2,000 full-time jobs.
