Hundreds of people descended into Brighton to pay tribute to Indian soldiers who fought in the WWI.

Around 1.5 million Indian soldiers fought on the battlefields in France and Belgium on the Western front.

Brighton played a special part; 12,000 wounded soldiers were taken to the city where they were treated.

It comes as preparations are underway across the south to mark 100 years since the end of the Great War.
