American aircraft carrier arrives in Portsmouth

The aircraft carrier USS Harry Truman arrived in Gosport on Saturday morning.

The first of the 5,000 crew began stepping ashore in Portsmouth at lunchtime.

The crew of the Truman have been on board since August.

Business leaders say its a welcome boost to the local economy.
