It has been 70 years since the Empire Windrush brought over settlers from the Caribbean to help rebuild Britain after the war.

Now, African Caribbean culture is embedded in many areas of our life.

The 14th Black History Month, which took place in Southampton, gave communities the chance to look back and celebrate the talents and enormous contribution made by black people in the city.
