Princess Margaret's jewellery up for auction in Sussex

A larger collection of items were initially auctioned off in 2006

Pieces of jewellery and ornaments owned by the late Princess Margaret are to due to sold at auction in East Sussex later this week.

The set dates back to the 19th century and includes a gift given to the princess for her wedding.

Princess Margaret, the The younger sister of Queen Elizabeth II, died on 9th February 2002. The pieces were originally sold off at an auction by Christies in 2006. Now, the items including an antique ruby, diamond bar brooch and an abstract aquamarine and gold brooch are up for auction at in Battle, East Sussex.
