Woman attacked by thousands of wasps after disturbing nest in Newbury

• Warnings issued after increase in number of wasps

It's the stuff of nightmares- coming under attack from thousands of wasps and having nowhere to escape.

But that's what happened to Sheila Bell from Newbury, who unwittingly disturbed a wasps nest in her bedroom ceiling.

Her daughter had to run for cover with her 8-week-old baby as Sheila was stung multiple times.
