A woman from Oxfordshire has filmed herself pouring bleach into a fish tank, deliberately killing the fish inside.

35 year old Serena Reynoldson then sent the video to her former partner, following a dispute.

Reynoldson could be heard talking to herself and adding more bleach when she realises the fish are not dying.

Oxford Magistrates Court heard Reynoldson was having a domestic dispute with her former partner, Mr Jonathan Fitzpatrick.

The defence had argued it was a one-off reaction that was not typical of her, and she was under a lot of financial pressure.

Following a prosecution brought by the RSPCA, she was handed an 18 week suspended prison sentence and banned from ever keeping fish again.
