Three and a half million pound makeover for Hampshire landmark
History is being brought back to life thanks to a major renovation project in Hampshire.
Until it was demolished in the 1960s, the Royal Victoria Military Hospital dominated the landscape at Netley.
It was the longest building in the world when it was completed, but all that remains now is a small chapel which fell into disrepair.
Now, after a three and a half million pound restoration project it's re-opened to the public. Rachel Hepworth reports:
Rachel spoke to Project Manager Paul Del-A-More, architect Bethan Knights and Cllr Seán Woodward from Hampshire County Council.
