The human rights group Liberty says the Army instructors who assaulted Sean Benton and other recruits at Deepcut Barracks should now face a criminal investigation.

The call follows the conclusion yesterday of the second inquest into the death of Private Benton, from Hastings, who shot himself dead at the Surrey barracks in 1995 after months of bullying and humiliation. John Ryall reports.
