Miners urging community to 'dig deep' to support coal museum
It's a sometimes forgotten part of Kentish history but, for decades, thousands of men toiled underground in the county's coalfields.
Now a campaign has been launched to raise the final funds needed to open a mining museum on the site of Kent's last working coal mine at Betteshanger.
Sarah Saunders went along to meet former miners and hear more about the heritage project, putting a spotlight on this bit of Kent's past.
