The final push - injured soldiers to take on epic bike challenge

A group of injured soldiers are doing their last bit of training before they take on the epic task of cycling 1,500 miles across New Zealand.

The Pilgrims Bandits charity was set up in 2007 by a small group of Special Forces veterans. The aim was to use their unique training and experience to help and inspire service personnel injured during their time in the armed forces.

The team will be using adapted tandem hand bikes for their latest challenge and the race will take 21 days. Kerry Swain has been with the team in Dorset as they prepare to head off.
