Arrests following Mutiny drug deaths released
Two people who were arrested in connection with the deaths of two people at the Mutiny music festival in Portsmouth have been released under investigation.
A 21-year-old woman from Waterlooville and 21-year-old from Havant were arrested on suspicion of being concerned in the supply of Class A drugs.
The 3 men who had previously been arrested have been released from custody and remain under investigation.
On 28/05, friends and relatives of Georgia Jones and Tommy Cowan gathered at Staunton Park Gardens in Leigh Park, to release balloons in their memory.
18 year old Georgia Jones and father-of-one Tommy Cowan who was 20, were taken ill after apparently taking pills.
A total of 15 people needed hospital treatment - one remains in a serious condition.
Organisers issued a public alert warning people there was a dangerous high strength or bad batch substance on the site.
Police previously arrested three local men in their twenties on suspicion of supplying Class A drugs.
It comes amid calls to scrap the festival which has been running for six years.
